proof that God exists...

So I took the GRE yesterday. It went pretty good. I'm glad to have it done. I have a few minutes before I go to linear algebra. I pretty much gave up on my homework so now I can post.

When I was in Arizona, I went and visited my mom's church. It was a little church where most of the people were over 70. My mom had me sing a duet with her. That was about as fun as you can get. Let me tell you. The old ladies are saying oh she looks just like her mother! Oh yes...that's definetly a great thing to hear.

Anyway the sermon was entitled three commonplace proofs that God exists. So I am gearing myself up to hear some kick ass proofs that God exists. Then he begins...

The first proof that God exists is life. Now how does life prove that God exists?? Why...life itself of course. Because there is life, there has to be a life giver... WOW!
Second proof that God exists is law. The way that law proves that God exists are the very laws themself. He then rips out some science...mentions gravity. Because there is gravity God exists.

The third proof that God exists is love...now you see where this is going...

He then continues to tell us we can use this when talking to "the lost." If someone asks you how you know God exists...just whip out your commonplace proofs! It's so simple!

I don't suggest that any of you try this approach if you want to prove God exists. It's not very solid. I wish I could do math proofs like this. Let's see...

Prove that the sqare root of 2 is an irrational number...
proof: The square root of 2 IS a rational number!

Nope...doesn't work...

I have 3 arguements that God doesn't exist:
1) Death exists.
2) Chaos exists.
3) Hate exists.

Now I really feel ready to help out "the found"

I mean with firepower like this how can I loose?

Glad to hear it was a good trip and you made it safely back.

And if Adam did not eat of the Tree of Life with the worm in the apple, we would not have all of those.

was there a worm in the apple? Was there even an apple? Was it the tree of life? I always thought it was the tree of knowledge of good and evil...

and eve ate first...

but blame really isn't productive now is it?
