i kinda like it.

So, I've been staying at my grandma's house quite frequently as of late. If you are confused as to why, then go ahead and read this.

My grandma has a two bedroom apartment, and my cousin also has been staying here. She's pregnant. She gets choice of a bed every night. I usually crash on the couch. I don' t mind it. I can sleep anywhere. However, my grandma goes to bed around 3 a.m. every night. I go to bed much earlier than that usually. So, until she's ready to go to bed, I sleep in her bed. She'll wake me up and I'll move to the couch.

Usually, I don't remember my dreams, but on the nights when this happens...I have dreams...and I remember them. I think she's waking me up at just the right moment...just as I'm having these dreams. I don't remember much from what I learned in psychology about the sleep cycle, so I'm not going to use any technical terms.

Anyway, dreaming...sorta cool, especially when you remember them. I think I mentioned a dream in my last post. Well, last night I had a dream about penguins and turkeys. That's sort of random. Maybe it's because thanksgiving just past and I sorta want to see Happy Feet. It looks cute...ha. So yeah, dreaming is fun. My grandma keeps waking me up before my dreams end, but I'm glad I'm remembering some.

****
So Google...I'm pretty sure it's pretty much one of the best tools on the planet. My cousin asked me a question today about something...I just looked it up on google images...showed her a picture...done. Love it.

****
I've been eating a lot of cake the last few days. It's pretty good. I can't stop. Just the cake though...not the icing. I don't really like icing.

****
single stuffed oreos are way better than double stuffed. I bought some last week to take down to the Red. I also enjoy eating honey nut cheerios on climbing trips. My little rubbermaid bowl was too full of honey nut cheerios. I wanted to put some oreos in it, but noticed I didn't have room in it. I said something about not needing to take oreos to the crag. Roman gave me the look of death. I'm pretty sure he then told me that was the stupidest thing he's ever heard me say. We took Oreos to the crag...and they were single stuffed.

Georgia! this weekend...Rocktown!

sweet.

*****
Isn't it crazy that it's almost December? This year went crazy fast...I liked it though. There were all sorts of new developments in my life. I like the person I am becoming.

oh! and since I probably won't update before the weekend...

How about I say...

GO COLTS!!!

k...I'm out.

it has been a hot minute...

so what's been going on?

I've had a busy week...

hope everybody had a spectacular thanksgiving.

I spent thanksgiving up in Wisconsin with my aunt and uncle, my dad, and some friends of my aunt and uncle. It was a unique thanksgiving with lots of great food. I met some cool people, and I'm always up for that. The turkey was a fresh turkey...not a frozen turkey, and it was spectacular. MMmmm....and the sweet potatoes...oh...so good. Good stuff, and plenty of wine.

I ran a race Thanksgiving morning...The Berbee Derby. It was hard and hilly. Dang hills. The weather was awesome, though. I ran in shorts and a t-shirt. It was spectacular!

So Friday, my dad and I left Wisconsin and headed back to Indiana, where he dropped me off to meet up with Justin and Roman. From this point, we all headed down to Kentucky...to Red River Gorge it up.

It was an interesting weekend to say the least.

I'm not really going to go on about the climbing, because most of you would have eyes that would begin to glaze over. I was excited to eat at Miguel's once more before it closed. MMM. Plus, Saturday night, there was a dance party. That was odd...to say the least. Interesting...but odd. Good times.

Roman, Fromke, Andy and Nate all headed to the beer trailer while I was waiting for our food. They were picking me up some beer. They get back, and Fromke hands me my beer...it's a freaking 7 oz. bottle of beer. They then told me they got a pack of 8 of the little beers. I was sort of T.O.'d...in a funny way...turns out though, that they had gotten me a regular 6-pack of Miller Light, and I could "graduate" to the bigger bottle once I finished the small bottle. Everybody got to take a crack at me. Some people sitting next to us, that I didn't even know even made a crack at me. It was kind of funny...it even had it's own little tin foil covering it. Fromke wanted me to go act super drunk around the fire holding my 7 oz. beer bottle, and then if anybody asked, I should tell them that was all I had to drink. Nice. People called it a "bitch beer." I don't wanna be a bitch. :)

The weather was awesome ALL weekend. I loved it.

So yeah, there you have it. On to Georgia next weekend. I love this lifestyle.

I laughed a lot...and that's good for everybody.

So, I stole this from Asher...

Just as he said...WTF? What in the world is going on in this picture? Check out the guy in the background...all in all an odd picture...

Weird. Does anybody have a good idea for a story that could accompany this? How about a good caption?

It's a sunshine day!!!

Yeah, It's tuesday. No work the rest of the week!!!! Super. Really. No school. No work. Just the Berbee Derby and who knows what else.

Speaking of Berbee Derby...I think they may just keep the name Thom. So, you may have another chance to run it. Right now, they're calling it the Berbee Derby...presented by CDW.

So, yeah. I'm trying to get my dad to go on a bit of a climbing trip. It will be an excursion. I think he needs to know the powers of the VW bus. It would be awesome.

Yeah. I'm sorta sad I'm not going to be partaking in the day after Thanksgiving shopping. It's been sort of a tradition the last couple years. Damn climbing. Taking over. Oh well, instead of standing in the cold outside of Best Buy...I'll be standing in the cold by rocks. It's cool. I don't really have anything I need to buy anyway. I didn't last year either. I just sat out in the cold forever and bought a couple DVDs and a CD. Oh well.

See...we were cold...and Brian was sad.

Wow.

This past weekend...I got introduced to Guitar Hero. Amazing. Absolutely Amazing. I loved it. Afterwards, my head sort of went through a song overload. I had about five songs running through it at once...It went something like this...

I send an SOS..SWEET CHILD OF MINE...She's my Cherry Pie...

over and over and over again.

Sunday was free milkshakes at STEAK AND SHAKE!!!! Good stuff. Then, the Colts...well...they lost. Damn them. Oh well. They better not keep losing or something...They need to get their butts to the Super Bowl.

I'm starving. I think it's almost lunchtime.

Speaking of food...I had a coupon for a free burrito from Chipotle that I decided to use last night. I got a burrito (of course)...and decided to put guacamole on it. I don't like guacamole. I wanted to give it another shot. I loved it. I like guacamole. Weird.

Yeah...

I'm done.

stellar...

That's another adjective that starts with S, and I like it.

Wow, so what a day. The people of the Reese IT department make me laugh...

I make myself laugh. Brian Trivett...a guy I work with, one of my good friends, and my ex-boyfriend works there...he makes me laugh a lot. I'm not sure if I should be laughing, because he's making fun of me...or I guess as he says it, he's not making fun of me, he's making fun of the situations I put myself in. I make myself giggle...

Wow, so yeah, I'm contemplating actually starting to write the daily events that go on in my life in greater detail on here. I try to steer sort of clear of the personal life stuff...but it would make this thing WAY more entertaining. Brian says it may just make your head explode. If I did that, you may take a break from work to read my blog, and then want to go back to work. OR you may just curl up in a corner and cry. Who knows.

Oh that Brian...he is a goober.

Good stuff from today...

"He's got a nice...........camera..."

Seriously...a camera...nothing else...

I had that as my away message...and Lindsey instant messages me with this...

Lindsey: have a great day rose!!
Auto response from me: he's got a nice...camera...
Rose: you too.
Lindsey: he's got a nice...did you mean to say package?
Rose: lol
Lindsey: i'm totally joking

I love her. She's cute.

written by Brian: (as if it was written by me...)

when I think about you I touch myself, okay not really, but I think about touching myself...

Turns out that Journey just may be the most fantastic band ever, well them and Rush...

I have pink toes now, I think it is from good blood flow.

I think I'm a ninja...reason:
1) I am a mammal.
2) I fight ALL the time.
3) My purpose is to flip out an kill people.

*****

ok back to me...wow, weirdo.

I love IT drama...

maybe I'll start a weekly IT drama post or something...it would be super...what do you think?

Splendid

That's what I am...splendid. I am so happy that I got into climbing. It's not just the climbing...it's all the cool people that came along with it. It's absolutely super. This past weekend...I went down to the gorge. I stayed in a cabin that a couple guys that go to the gym I go to own. There was a good group of us there...and it was fun. Well, that is if you consider Scrabble fun. We played Scrabble. I won. Sweet. So, I climbed...and ate at Miguel's and got to see cool people. Nothing better...I promise...well there are a few things better...but these days all these things have something to do with climbing...Ale 8...VW bus...beer...pizza...fires...Marks BBQ...Joshua Tree...Oreos...Honey Nut Cheerios...Chacos...

*****

I like looking through the archives of this blog. It's funny to see what I once wrote. Sometimes, I think I want to delete some things because I'm sort of embarrassed that I ever wrote them. I look at them and think WTF? What kind of crap is this. I like it though. I won't ever delete it because well, I like seeing how I've changed on this journey I'm on. I like looking at things and people that come through my life. New relationships...old relationships...broken ones...things that make me happy...things that make me sad...I want to go back and read all this stuff 10 years from now. I think that would be really cool. I would probably giggle to death or something...

*****

So yeah, splendid...that's a good word. I find I really like adjectives that start with S.

examples:
super
spectacular
splendid

well that's only 3 that are coming to mind...but I use those a lot. Super.

*****

are you stalking me? because that would be super...

*****

Damn...I'm a loser. I know it. Wow.

*****

Colts are 9-0

*****

that's sweet.

*****

hey! That's another one of them there S words...

*****

I run a marathon in less than two months...eek.

*****

Spell check wouldn't work. I know there are mispelled words...but I don't want to fix them. Sorry. I do math...not spelling :)

what in the hell am I doing???

If Lance Armstrong thinks a marathon is the hardest thing he has ever done...what makes me even begin to think I should be doing something like that???? I'm freaking crazy.

Oh Well...

I'm about to head to good ole Kentucky to go climbing. Should be super times...everybody is going to be there.

Here's your answer to who would win in the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny...

Be careful...it's catchy...

this blog is awesome, and by awesome...I mean totally sweet.

So, I was going to update yesterday, but my fingertips were sort of raw, and I didn't want to type all that much.

*I learned something new this weekend. Did you know that Sam Walton put in his will that people can camp in Wal-Mart parking lots for free? That's a random fact. Charlie told me. Charlie has a VW bus. He sleeps in Wal-Mart parking lots from time to time. As I was driving home the other night, I looked over in a Wal-Mart parking lot, and sure enough...there was an RV parked there. It made me chuckle.

*This past weekend, I got introduced to the VW bus. Freaking awesome. It's a pretty awesome way to roll. It made my roadtrip wonderful. Well, the people also had a part in that. Roman and Charlie are awesome people.

*I drank beer in the bus...while it was on the road. That's illegal. I'm such a rebel.

*Yeah, I climbed down in Alabama this past weekend. I like it there. I had so much fun.

*I got to meet some super cool people, and discover the awesomeness of people I already knew. I love experiences like that.

*stuff from the weekend:

-me: "sometimes, while I'm driving, I like to turn classical music up really loud and pretend I am at the sympony."
-Roman: "sometimes, I like to go to the symphony and pretend I'm in my car on a climbing trip listening to classical music really loud."

-random drunk guy: "You're in school for math? Do you know sudoku?"

*I know this blog sucks ass, and I'm sorry.

*Colts are 8-0!

*Brian Trivett just informed me that he is bringing sexy back...

*That's sweet.

*hey...who do you think would win in the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny? What I mean by this is if tons of super heros and cartoon characters got together and started fighting...who would win?
