brrrr.

It's so cold outside. Sooo cold. It's not been too bad though. I sometimes like the cold. It snowed a little yesterday. Not much to go build a snow man with, but still...snow.

Yeah. I'm in town this weekend. That's cool. I haven't been in town for a bit. I get to watch the Colts game with my friends. I like that. Hopefully they do a bit better.

With lack of anything better to say...

bye.

what's going on???

So yeah, I can't believe we are trucking right along through December now! This year went crazy crazy fast. It was good though. Sigh. Lots of good things happened. I can't wait for 2007. Weird. 2007...the year I turn 25. Sweet.

This past weekend, I headed down to Georgia. I went to a place called Rocktown. Climbing was done, and fun was had by all. It was a cool place. The camping was definitely rugged. There was no running water or outhouses or anything. That's cool though. It helps you appreciate certain things in life. I got home, and it was so nice to be able to wash my hands and take a shower and such. I thought to myself hey! I really like water. Showers are awesome. OOO...and it's nice to be able to sit on a toilet. Ha. It is also really nice to sleep inside in a bed. I love being outside though, so it's all good.

Climbing was fun. I didn't really make it up to the top of much. It was my first time there, and I defintely now have some projects. When you boulder, you place something underneath you for when you fall. It's called a crash pad. You carry the crash pad around you on your back like so:
So yeah, Jodi and I are walking out of the boulder field, and some non-climbers were walking on they trail. They stopped us and asked us what the things we were wearing on our backs were. Jodi explained to them what they were. The guy then asked her why we didn't wear one on the front too. Ha ha. No silly, we put them down on the ground. We don't climb with them on. That would have been hard. I have a hard enough time climbing without something on my back.

Wow,

so yeah, the Colts lost last weekend. 60 yard field goal? Man, I wish Tennessee would have had Vanderjadt kicking for them. :) We probably would have won then.

Oh well. So is life.

This blog sucks. I think I should quit it. I don't know. I feel as though my life is pretty interesting. I feel like I have interesting thoughts. However, it seems that whenever i go to write anything, nothing cool comes to mind.

I run a marathon in a month.

scary.

This past weekend, I learned how to do a good job roasting marshmellows. :) It was great. I ate a lot of marshmellows though.

I left my phone in Kentucky.

blah.

i kinda like it.

So, I've been staying at my grandma's house quite frequently as of late. If you are confused as to why, then go ahead and read this.

My grandma has a two bedroom apartment, and my cousin also has been staying here. She's pregnant. She gets choice of a bed every night. I usually crash on the couch. I don' t mind it. I can sleep anywhere. However, my grandma goes to bed around 3 a.m. every night. I go to bed much earlier than that usually. So, until she's ready to go to bed, I sleep in her bed. She'll wake me up and I'll move to the couch.

Usually, I don't remember my dreams, but on the nights when this happens...I have dreams...and I remember them. I think she's waking me up at just the right moment...just as I'm having these dreams. I don't remember much from what I learned in psychology about the sleep cycle, so I'm not going to use any technical terms.

Anyway, dreaming...sorta cool, especially when you remember them. I think I mentioned a dream in my last post. Well, last night I had a dream about penguins and turkeys. That's sort of random. Maybe it's because thanksgiving just past and I sorta want to see Happy Feet. It looks cute...ha. So yeah, dreaming is fun. My grandma keeps waking me up before my dreams end, but I'm glad I'm remembering some.

****
So Google...I'm pretty sure it's pretty much one of the best tools on the planet. My cousin asked me a question today about something...I just looked it up on google images...showed her a picture...done. Love it.

****
I've been eating a lot of cake the last few days. It's pretty good. I can't stop. Just the cake though...not the icing. I don't really like icing.

****
single stuffed oreos are way better than double stuffed. I bought some last week to take down to the Red. I also enjoy eating honey nut cheerios on climbing trips. My little rubbermaid bowl was too full of honey nut cheerios. I wanted to put some oreos in it, but noticed I didn't have room in it. I said something about not needing to take oreos to the crag. Roman gave me the look of death. I'm pretty sure he then told me that was the stupidest thing he's ever heard me say. We took Oreos to the crag...and they were single stuffed.

****
Georgia! this weekend...Rocktown!

sweet.

Isn't it crazy that it's almost December? This year went crazy fast...I liked it though. There were all sorts of new developments in my life. I like the person I am becoming.

oh! and since I probably won't update before the weekend...

How about I say...

GO COLTS!!!

k...I'm out.

it has been a hot minute...

so what's been going on?

I've had a busy week...

hope everybody had a spectacular thanksgiving.

I spent thanksgiving up in Wisconsin with my aunt and uncle, my dad, and some friends of my aunt and uncle. It was a unique thanksgiving with lots of great food. I met some cool people, and I'm always up for that. The turkey was a fresh turkey...not a frozen turkey, and it was spectacular. MMmmm....and the sweet potatoes...oh...so good. Good stuff, and plenty of wine.

I ran a race Thanksgiving morning...The Berbee Derby. It was hard and hilly. Dang hills. The weather was awesome, though. I ran in shorts and a t-shirt. It was spectacular!

So Friday, my dad and I left Wisconsin and headed back to Indiana, where he dropped me off to meet up with Justin and Roman. From this point, we all headed down to Kentucky...to Red River Gorge it up.

It was an interesting weekend to say the least.

I'm not really going to go on about the climbing, because most of you would have eyes that would begin to glaze over. I was excited to eat at Miguel's once more before it closed. MMM. Plus, Saturday night, there was a dance party. That was odd...to say the least. Interesting...but odd. Good times.

Roman, Fromke, Andy and Nate all headed to the beer trailer while I was waiting for our food. They were picking me up some beer. They get back, and Fromke hands me my beer...it's a freaking 7 oz. bottle of beer. They then told me they got a pack of 8 of the little beers. I was sort of T.O.'d...in a funny way...turns out though, that they had gotten me a regular 6-pack of Miller Light, and I could "graduate" to the bigger bottle once I finished the small bottle. Everybody got to take a crack at me. Some people sitting next to us, that I didn't even know even made a crack at me. It was kind of funny...it even had it's own little tin foil covering it. Fromke wanted me to go act super drunk around the fire holding my 7 oz. beer bottle, and then if anybody asked, I should tell them that was all I had to drink. Nice. People called it a "bitch beer." I don't wanna be a bitch. :)

The weather was awesome ALL weekend. I loved it.

So yeah, there you have it. On to Georgia next weekend. I love this lifestyle.

I laughed a lot...and that's good for everybody.

So, I stole this from Asher...

Just as he said...WTF? What in the world is going on in this picture? Check out the guy in the background...all in all an odd picture...

Weird. Does anybody have a good idea for a story that could accompany this? How about a good caption?

It's a sunshine day!!!

Yeah, It's tuesday. No work the rest of the week!!!! Super. Really. No school. No work. Just the Berbee Derby and who knows what else.

Speaking of Berbee Derby...I think they may just keep the name Thom. So, you may have another chance to run it. Right now, they're calling it the Berbee Derby...presented by CDW.

So, yeah. I'm trying to get my dad to go on a bit of a climbing trip. It will be an excursion. I think he needs to know the powers of the VW bus. It would be awesome.

Yeah. I'm sorta sad I'm not going to be partaking in the day after Thanksgiving shopping. It's been sort of a tradition the last couple years. Damn climbing. Taking over. Oh well, instead of standing in the cold outside of Best Buy...I'll be standing in the cold by rocks. It's cool. I don't really have anything I need to buy anyway. I didn't last year either. I just sat out in the cold forever and bought a couple DVDs and a CD. Oh well.

See...we were cold...and Brian was sad.

Wow.

This past weekend...I got introduced to Guitar Hero. Amazing. Absolutely Amazing. I loved it. Afterwards, my head sort of went through a song overload. I had about five songs running through it at once...It went something like this...

I send an SOS..SWEET CHILD OF MINE...She's my Cherry Pie...

over and over and over again.

Sunday was free milkshakes at STEAK AND SHAKE!!!! Good stuff. Then, the Colts...well...they lost. Damn them. Oh well. They better not keep losing or something...They need to get their butts to the Super Bowl.

I'm starving. I think it's almost lunchtime.

Speaking of food...I had a coupon for a free burrito from Chipotle that I decided to use last night. I got a burrito (of course)...and decided to put guacamole on it. I don't like guacamole. I wanted to give it another shot. I loved it. I like guacamole. Weird.

Yeah...

I'm done.
