It's a beautiful day!!!

Today has given me hopes that spring has arrived!! It was absolutely amazing outside!!! Woohoo. Alright, the best part of this day was that I actually heard an icecream truck! I remember when I was little, my sister and I would chase after the icecream truck with our change to get something. It was one of the most exciting things of our day. We had boring childhoods I guess. Speaking of childhoods, I asked my dad the other day why he didn't put us in sports. He just said "oh we weren't in to sports." K...that was random.

moving on...

News flash! Tyanna actually spells her name Tyana. You can find her here . This just doesn't make sense to me. She said her mom got it out of the back of the KJV. It doesn't seem liked it would be pronounced tyanna..but more like (now say these words individually folks) t-on-a.
oh well, i guess tyanna (with 1 n) knows best on how to spell and pronounce her name, so I wont argue.

I'm still moving...

I read a comment on adam's that somebody was selling candles scented like Jesus. That makes me laugh. Jesus scented candles, any thought on how that would smell?

how about some random thoughts??

*I really need to clean the apartment.
*sometimes blogger is really darn slow.. it has been crazy messed up today. I don't know what the deal is.
*I have way too many articles of clothing...they are completly taking over my room.
*I like woodchuck cider. it's growing on me.
*I wonder if J.B. won any money for me while he was at the casino today.

how about some more 80's stuff (just a few)

ok..actually just one because this is important:

30. You remember Hypercolor t-shirts

Oh yeah baby!! I had one i got at a garage sale. I wasn't cool enough to get the nice new clothes (maybe that is why i buy so many clothes now) Mine was orange and it changed to white or something like that. Did anybody else have one. By the way, I got mine after they weren't really cool anymore, but that is how my life is :)

Wow, this post is sure interesting

We are all having issues with it. The server is overloaded.

As for the Casino, I will just say this: Never go to a Casino during a full moon. John warned me about it. Now I see what he meant.

We got CRUSHED. And it wasn't in usual ways - that was what was funny. We were at craps, and there was like 20 bad rolls in a row. Then I moved to blackjack. I did OK for a while, but when I increased my bet because of the favorable count here's what happened:

1. I got two 15's and busted - not unusual.
2. The dealer beat my 17. - not unusual
3. Then the dealer bet my 18, 19, and two 20's - very unusual.
4. Here was the kicker - I had an A-7 which you generally wouldn't hit on because it is an 18, but I had an increased bet and the dealer had an Ace showing. I thought "he'll beat that as usual for today" so I took a chance and hit. I got a 9 which brought my total to 17. The dealer had an 18.

Then, back over at craps, John was betting sixes and was getting pretty cleaned out. When it was his turn to roll, he stopped betting sixes and rolled 10 sixes in a row.

Wierd day. But fun.

Sorry this is long,

JB

Punfun! Jesus scented candles obviously smell sweet, like roses. Because, as Shakespeare put it (or more accurately, Shakespear's Romeo), "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

And of course, Shakespeare was probably Roman Catholic (probably raised RC... but this was around the protestant movement so...). I'd say more but I think I'm way over my limit of giving Catholics jive.

I love spring time. It makes me feel like the world isn't going to feel dead forever. I bet Indiana is a really beautiful place to be in the spring time. I was there about a month ago, everything was dead but I remember thinking how beautiful it might look during spring and fall.

Candles that smell like Jesus probably stink. Nothing bad about Jesus, just that 1st century Jews probably didn't have alot of hygiene norms.

Hypercolor shirts were amazing. Mine was purple (manly purple mind you) that turned orangish. It was the bomb for about a week and a half till it didn't hyper color any more, then I moved on with my life.

Adam,

I was just telling J.B. the same thing about the Jesus candles today. That's funny. I looked up the candles from a link somebody put on your blog (www.macky.typepad.com if anybody is interested), and apparently it is supposed to smell like Jesus smells when he comes back...I don't know.

J.B., I will look at the pic soon, and just in case you missed it, TyaNa wants you to look at her post on easter. Adam it may interest you too. (http://www.joshandty.blogspot.com)
