It's snowing...

I'm a bit disappointed. They said there was going to be more snow. Oh well. It's the second bad snow we have had this winter, and both of them fell during rush hour. It turns the city into a nightmare.

Friday night...was St. Patrick's Day. It was good times. 50 cent green beer. Now that's awesome. My friend Jessie raised the question: Why can't all holidays have 5o cent colored beer? That would be super duper cool. Red and Green beer for Christmas, orange beer for Halloween, red beer for Valentines day...ooooo.... So anyway...we went line dancing. Well not just line dancing...just dancing like crazy fools. We can't line dance. We were crazy. It was fun. I have bruises on my knees from trying to slide across the dance floor. ha.

We found a house! Our lease is up at the end of April, and we must move. I will give more details when we have actually signed the lease. I don't want to get my hopes too high.

Well that's all for now. How was your St. Patrick's Day? Did you have any green beer?

Hi Rose!
I hope you're doing well...
I lost your email address so I'm having to use alternate powers of the world wide web to contact you. :)

Hey, we're playing tomorrow (Fri) night in Muncie IN, which isn't really near you, but in case you happen to know some people on the north side, or some students at Taylor or Anderson Univ, or some people who actually live in Anderson/Muncie... Then I thought I'd give you the news to pass along!
Here's an email blurb that some people have sent out-- -- Makes a mass impersonal email so easy! ;)
And someday when we're in Indy again, we'd love to see you. (Or at the release show?) Thanks Rose; YOU rock!!

Check it Out:

Ellery, an alt-folk duo from Cincinnati, will be playing an acoustic set at THE LIVING ROOM in Muncie IN
On FRIDAY, MARCH 24th, at 8pm!

This will be their first time in the Muncie/Anderson area, but they've been touring for over five years to colleges, coffeehouses, churches and bars all over the country. This Spring's tours are in support of the CD they're releasing on April 4th, produced by Ric Hordinski (Over the Rhine, Phil Keaggy, David Wilcox, etc). The new album is already receiving national press and radio attention, and will be taking them across the US this Summer.

This show is only $2 -- Don't miss it!

"...The twosome's airy yet organic Pop has a soul-tickling emotional weight that many bands would die for. Starry-eyed yet also very grounded, Ellery's sound is romantic, dreamy, moving and flawlessly executed." --Cincinnati Citybeat Magazine
