yo...

If you read this,
even if I don't speak to you that often,
you must post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want,
it can be good or bad,
just so long as it happened.

Well, you have read this far, so I guess a memory must be left. Thank you Laura and Lindsay for letting me hijack this from your blogs. Well, I took it from Lindsay's but I first saw it on Laura's. I hope everybody is having a wonderful day.

Hey Rose,
We've had so many great times together I don't even know where to begin. I could talk about the time we studied at the INN getting ready for the Real Analysis final and discussed the intracasies of my love life. Or maybe the time I accidentally called you a harlot in front of those new freshmen we were having lunch with. Or maybe talk about how we used to go to church together on Wednesday nights and Bro. Sam would call us "Hoosiers." Or about the random street party we went to in downtown Louisville. Or about that very, VERY special family car ride through Indianapolis. Or about the little toilet incident with my friend Crawford at your apartment. But of all these . . . I ne'er shall the night in Baltimore!!!

Always and forever,
Matt

matt,

oh the good times. I believe we will forever be talking about your love life. I do miss that Bro. Sam. I wonder how he is. My mom is a great woman isnt she? Nevermore will I leave you with your friends alone at my apartment:). How awesome is it to wander the streets and just come upon so many lights? Never will I forget Baltimore..

The ghetto light in your old house (I currently use the same method to light my closet). The inflatable chair. The cowboy. The discomfort of that neighborhood (yikes!). Speaking of uncomfortable neighborhoods, how 'bout the Melody Inn? Lemon water... honestly, I never thought people actually liked that until I met you, I just thought they were cheap lemonade drinkers. My first retro wednesday. My first Tiki Bob's experience. Your birthday on my buddy's wedding day. Your analytical book that made me think I should've kept mine (if a math major has one, shouldn't a chem/biochem have one?).

OOO, and a connection I just made: REO... REO Speedwagon? You need to get yourself a suped-up station wagon... like a jetta or something. Put REO on the license plate.

There's more, but I basically save brain space lumping them all together in a file called Rose... so I count it as one memory.

Could you tell me what you mean by ghetto light? I don't think I remember that. Don't knock lemon water..it is good stuff..it takes the crappy taste out of faucet water..k..that's all i have to say

JB here: The memory that asserts itself lately is the one of you dancing in my office door at work. The little teeny-bopper dance. It is so funny. I think of it, chuckle, smile to myself and move on down the dark, windblown street of life.

JB here: Another memory has surfaced. You in the party chair spinning around saying, "oooohhhhh. I am getting dizzy. Aaaaaaaaa. I can't stop the chair from spinning." That is a pretty good memory. Another bright point in the darkness of this mortal coil.

A brief summation of random memories: I'm a slave for you... the too many props and kinky teddy bear pose ... my charade of embarrassment as a 'castle'... the white trash party... your 21st birthday and the BIG SHOT glass... my 21st and that one thing that you and I did on top of that one bar... super fun hats... mango melmosos with orange juice... your afternoon naps at my place... straddling your sister before getting stuck in shrub...

First of all to J.B.'s comment...
I just want to make it clear that I was not the one spinning willingly..I was being spun around against my will and I had nothing to gram on to.

Now onto Kristin..I love you love you!

I heard I'm a Slave For You WAYYYY too many times that day. Oh those were the days...good ole picture people. Birthdays and parties are way fun..and shhh..we shouldnt talk about being on the bars..people from my church read this :). I will always remember my sister straddling you..that could have been one of the funniest moments ever..it was very random! I liked it when you worked at hubby and craven...

I LOVE SOCCER BOYS!! ha

so rose...you were on a bar...interesting...first i wanna guess who JB is b/c i'm not sure: Johnathan Bowen??? let me know if i'm right. second of all...i'd like to post a memory: hmm...let's see...they are kind of blurry...i like my little raps and watching your face after i've read them (in none stop laughter). it's hilarious. and i have yet to still make the m-word rap. another memory...just us as a small group laughing it up. oh yeah, and how you can never focus on what we are supposed to really be talking about. it's sad, while at the same time, quite funny. you always find random subjects to talk about. and then we sit there and can't stop laughing. it's great! i love you rose!!

Hey Rose,

Ill remember the first time I saw you and your hats :). At first I thought it may be weird when you talk to someone for so long then meet but it was all really cool, I had a blast out in IND. Going out every night I was there, to all the clubs, you know you may have a future in being a tour guide as well :) as I think we covered almost every bar. The Pacers game even though they lost but that’s nothing new this year, and the super bowl. It sucks I wasn't out there a day earlier to meet the pacers but now I feel like I was there as you were pretty good and descriptive telling the story :). Now you will just have to let me know when you get to Wisconsin and I can return the favor and will show you a good time in Madison.
